Monetary: First and foremost, MACSI is about making money. YAY MONEY!
Allocation: IÆll be taking your money and making it my money, for a while at least.
Certified: I totally know what IÆm doing here. IÆm certified.
Securities: Your securities (money) are safe ((a place to store money) with me (secure)).
Inc.: This just makes the whole operation feel more legit you know? If this was a LLC I would worry if I was you.
Chapter 2 - Background on origins/idea/current business
Do you want to make more money? Of Course, we all do! Anyone who was watching TV in 1990 in the US totally got that reference, and you are my kind of people. Anyway, I actually have made an obscene amount of isk before, then blew it all away on things that I wish could say was hookers and blow, but honestly it wasnÆt for anything of the sort and now I feel IÆm short on funds. Ok, IÆm not that short but I just want MORE MONEY.
This is where you guys and girls come in.

IÆm the CEO of MACSI, and the sole member. IÆm also an alt of a main character for which will remain mysteriously unknown. Women find mysterious men sexy. If you donÆt believe me, google it. They also like dangerous men, but I prefer cuddles not puddles. I know that doesnÆt even make sense. I know, dangerous men make puddlesàOF BLOOD. ThatÆs simply not me.

I started my alt and gave him a few million isk to start his corporation because they donÆt give you enough isk to buy Corporation Management. I spent more time building a cool soon-to-be-outdated-avatar than it took to train the actual skill that was for sale in the station I started in. I havenÆt even undocked.

So I know what you are thinking by nowàthis is totally a scam. Your Corp Ticker backwards is ôI SCAMö and your name is an anagram for ôA Scammerö. You have set off the red flags you asked about on the Eve Forum (http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1444336 )such as alt with no history, refusing to allow an audit (oh ya, btw no auditors), no collateral, no info on how I will make this obscene amount of money!
True. But let me ask you this.
How many IPOs have you seen that people had to ask ôis this legit?ö How much extra work did others put into their post to try and gather trust? How many have tried to use a little reverse psychology to make you invest by saying ænever invest more than youÆre willing to loseÆ? How many lies were uncovered at the very end? Answer is quite a lot and you know it. Hell a lot of us read the one about the guy that ran to the library or something to answer a phone. DidnÆt he ever hear of go-phones you can pick up at Best Buy? That was dedication to the deception.
IÆm giving you the complete Opposite.
This IPO screams of a scam. So much in fact you would be a fool to worry that itÆs a scam after you give me your isk. LetÆs try something different! Give me your isk, write it off, and go on with your life. Give it, and forget it -- ThatÆs the motto for this entire paragraph.
Then, sometime in the future IÆm going to do a dividend payout. And another. And Another. Maybe Another. Again until I am done and return all the isk you invested. In the end, I am going to double your money. OR MORE. YouÆre going to be all WTFBBQ I THOUGHT THIS WAS A SCAM. ItÆs going to be hilarious. YouÆll be drinking with your buddies saying ôoh man I made money in that ôscamöö then laugh and high-fiving and peeing on each other. Good times. Good Times.
I said above that thereÆs a limit of 10 Shares per person û this is because I believe as many people as possible should experience the joys of investing, not just the mega rich that are happy to throw their money away so they can become a drama llama on their own. The more û the merrier I say!

I've already started trying to make some money with 320 Million isk.
There's a few very profitable avenues out there to choose from.
It seems there is a tradition that when you quit Eve, you go to Jita and ask people for isk and give them double, triple, or even decuple your isk back ! Now that is a crazy return on an investment!
Some people feel very lonely and social and crave interaction and/or contact that they ask you to simply open a trade window and they'll give you a Caldari Navy Raven for what seems to be a price lower than any contract you'll find in the entire region! Pick up a few of those Ravens and throw them right back on the market for the antisocial ship buyers, and profit!
I've also seen some great lotteries in Jita, where you hand over a reasonable amount of isk for something mysterious in a container. Well, I'm sorry but I wish to remain more mysterious than them so I will shy away from that alluring but highly promising lottery just to get more chicks.
We'll see how things play out over the weekend and if I make some isk, and I'll let you know.

MACSI has sold nearly 200 shares so far.
I'm just as shocked as the next person. I'm sure the screenshot of the contracts built some some confidence, however cmon people- I raised as many red flags as possible! I have gone out of my way to be as scammy as possible. I HAD to at least do the screenshot I thought because nobody would have really sent 1 isk otherwise. Now I'm thinking I shouldn't have put it out there right away, kept it as an ace in the hole. Hindsight truly is 20/20.
I was telling a friend about this in the middle of it getting executed, and he said the exact words I was looking for. This is the first Fake Scam IPO he's ever seen - assuming I really do any sort of payout. Anything less than a total refund of all isk to the SHAREHOLDERS (key word thre) would result in being a scam. If I pay everyone back even, it's not exactly a profitable investment, and not exactly a scam.
We're already out 2 CSPA charges - so I'm already in the red! So if it was a scam, everyone would have no reason to be upset whatsoever because well, look at all the red flags. I even invented new red flags with my name, and my corp name. Oh I'm starting to think "Honesty is the best Policy"
Anyway.
I've had some interesting private conversations ingame, and some very good points came up that I guess I can throw out there for the sake of dialogue.
1.) Will I create more shares
This was a gooooood question. The best so far! Someone is thinking at the big picture. Seeing how I gave absolutely no business plan, he is concerned I am going to run a Ponzai Scheme. This totally could be one. HOWEVER, if I'm correct about the mechanics,I could not create more shares if I sold more than 500 shares and everyone voted NO when I create the poll. I will lack majority vote!
With 811 shares left, and no poll yet, that risk is very real! oooOOooooOOO! The shareholders would be the very first to catch wind of that risk, and at the very least I bring this to the public to increase the appearance that this is a scam - the more red flags, the better!
2.)I was asked why the limit of 10 shares per person, because a scammer would be happy to have ONE person buy up all the shares and be done with it. This is an answer once again that is more philosophical than fiscal. Eve is by far the most interesting game out there for risk vs reward. Scamming, spying, deception, and backstabbing are perfectly legal IN GAME. It's darn near encouraged at times.
I feel everyone should feel the burn of this at least once, because you can't enjoy what's really good until you compare it to something bad. Sure, everyone could click on 99% of the links in Jita Local, buy, and feel the burn. Anyone could invest in one of the many possible-scam-IPOs that litter these forums. And you know what's better than feeling misery and guilt ingame ? Feeling it in a group!
Welcome to that group!
Then again, this could be the group that went in expecting a scam from the get-go and walked out with a profit. Again, first fake-scam would be a milestone in my book.
Time will tell.
3.) Are you Chribba?
I got asked this four times so far. How funny. I've asked Chribba twice to buy shares, even tried to guilt him as he "lost the bet" on who I was with the PLEX Donation. he wont :(
I may just give him some for free for being such a nice guy.
Anyhow it's been great talking to folks in game and keeping the song and dance of the scam alive. Or the possibility it's not a scam.
I do want to just make one suggestion based on #2 above.
Find a good friend of yours in game.
Ask them to borrow 5 Million isk.
Send me the 5 Million isk, then an evemail with the NAME OF YOUR FRIEND, and let me give him the share.
I can let your friend know he's now part of the MACSI shareholder club.
I mean, you gave a friend a gift of a possible scam.
That's pretty funny if you ask me. And its ONLY 5 MILLION ISK! (or you can send 50)

It took me a few minutes to figure out what was going on here, as I was in the middle of teaching a new young foolish investor to MACSI how to find his shares in his wallet, and lo and behold I find shares of "Quafe Addiction Rehab Services". I thought Hey, I have a Quafe Addiction, this is great!, only after I did a quick search...there WAS NO SUCH CORP.
I went back to the share, and looked at the information for the corp and saw it was closed!
Two thoughts.
One, you have given me the pain I could give the shareholders. Upon seeing your closed corp, I felt the pain a meth addict feels when you hand him a vial of the meth cure and he shoots it up and he finds out the vial is empty*. The entire emotion can be expressed as "ugh".
I felt that "ugh".
I realized the shareholders as well, could feel "ugh" down the road if I don't cure their wallet vacancies.
You have struck a moral fibrous organ of mine, and it isn't pretty mind you.
I will have to contemplate on how to proceed in my fake scam.. well that and hellhathnofury is still probably watching me. That's two women I think that are out to get me, and I find dangerous sexy.
I said I had two thoughts, and that was the first.
The second thought was as I sit here, "dear lord, what did I eat for dinner....and can I have it tonight". Thus today's poll, so shareholders be sure to vote!
And in case you're wondering, It was Broccoli.

I was also goofing off today as I said and I didn't really document this dividend payout as it was not really a real one.
For documentation, the largest one was (I added commas to make it easy to read) :
First, the biggest one of a batch of several that I used to try and even out my corp wallet (that I failed at). Second, someone tried to "bribe" me for 100,000 isk to tell me a secret to market PVP. So I gave everyone at least that much to be fair.
I was accused of using alts to verify the screenshot claims, as we saw a FEW verified my claims, but NOBODY outright disputed it. So if anyone wishes to dispute these payouts feel free to do so --- just provide something like screenshots so you wont look desperate. Also post with your shareholder character or I'll post the huge 3page screenshot of shareholders to show you is lying! (naughty naughty!)

on Jan 14th I gave away 670 Million Isk.
on Jan 17 I gave away 1.240 Billion isk
on Jan 21 I gave away 5 Billion Isk, then refunded everyone the 5 Billion total investment, 5 Million per share!
So - I gave away 6,910,000,000 - 6.91 Billion isk.
6 PLEX on Jita Market are worth 340 Million right now. 340x6= 2.04 Billion

Poll Results for Phase 2 AND CREATE 1000 Shares
First - don't panic. The 1,000 Share Poll was made over a week ago when I owned 504 shares. It was nothing short of a scare tactic, which nobody really cared about. Even MORE surprising, with my 504 shares vs. 496 you guys owned, I'd expect 51/49 5 results. I mean, I titled it "D IS FOR DILUTION!". Creating 1000 shares supported the Ponzi scheme accusation.
Nevertheless, quite a few people voted yes.
ANYWAY
71% of the shareholders voted ONE WEEK FOR PHASE TWO!
1-21-2011 at 00:43 is when I started the poll, which was the official start of Phase 2.

OK
So now it's not just 3 PLEX for 150 shares. 150 shares times 100,000 also pays on the very last day 15,000,000 Million isk.
That doesn't count the days leading up to it.
Did I just see the value of shares go up a tiny bit ?
Or could Dilution still happen ?

So, as it seems someone has sent me shares, and placed me in forth place. I did not expect this twist and it seems someone's trying to be silly, and here I thought I was the only eccentric one being silly.
That's not the only silly surprise this morning.
The Shareholders have spoken - there will not be any more free isk!
I didn't expect that either.
And in the middle of this post, I did discover who sent me the shares!
Twas Oni Spook !, and I checked, they were never a shareholder! Obvious alt of a shareholder having laughs.
And I didn't save the uncropped shareholders list for past few days.

no more silly surprises this morning that I can see.

Were it not for me checking Jita local on a whim I would never have know about this fantastic thing, also i wouldn't know about this backwards scam.

Explain to me why it belongs there?
This was no scam, I paid out 100% and more to shareholders in less than 4 weeks. Same can't be said for other threads on this forum that turned out to be scams!
I'm also in the process of giving away 6 PLEX, and updating shareholders who holds the most shares.
The only reason you have to troll is you didn't buy shares and didn't get free money I suppose!

After speakign with Lederstrumpf, the PLEX will go toward the next PLEX for Good program that we see from CCP. That's based on the assumption it will happen again, however if we don't see it Lederstrumpf can always contact me...er, somehow....oh I gotta think on that.
